Tiffany Russell knew at an early age that she had a passion for helping people.
She is an entrepreneur, author, mentor and woman of God. Tiffany Russell graduated cum laude from the prestigious Tuskegee University where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. During her undergraduate career, she was inducted into Golden Key and Pi Sigma Alpha honoraries. She attained her Juris Doctorate from North Carolina Central University School of Law. While in law school, she participated in the school's Clinical Law and Alternative Dispute Programs, which allowed her to provide legal representation to indigent clients.
During her law school career, she gained a zeal for challenges and found complete pleasure in research and problem-solving. Russell was a Contract Attorney at Womble, Carlyle, Sandridge and Rice, PLLC before embarking on a life of total fulfillment by opening her own practice in 2009. However her experience at WCSR, allowed her to gain expertise in the area of electronic discovery, representing corporate clients responding to E-discovery requests as well as corporate clients propounding E-discovery. She was the Managing Partner and Founder of TDRLEGAL, a full service law firm with offices throughout North Carolina and in the State of Florida. She is a Partner of Building Beyond, a construction company with an unlimited classification that is licensed in 16 states. Russell is a partner in TDRLEGAL Property Management, a real estate investment division, and she is a retired certified sports agent for the NFL, NBA, WNBA, and FIBA!
She is a former Board Member of The Music for Life Foundation. She served three terms on the Board of Directors for Urban Ministries of Durham. She served four terms on the Housing Appeals Board for the City of Durham, serving as the Chair for two terms. She was also selected as a 2009-2010 American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division Scholar. She was elected as one of the 2010-2011 Vice-Chairs for the Minorities in the Profession Committee (MIPC) of the ABA. She served as Truancy Court Judge at Spring Valley Elementary School and DSA for the Durham Public School System.
